John is Head of Asset Management at Varco Energy, with experience spanning over 1GW of battery energy storage projects across construction and operations. He is responsible for overseeing the performance, optimisation, and long-term value of the Group’s BESS portfolio. John works closely with OEMs, EPC contractors, network operators, insurers, and investment partners to ensure projects transition efficiently from construction through to stable commercial operation.
