We are proud to announce that Phase 1 of our Sizing John Battery Energy Storage System, executed in partnership with Fluence, has successfully entered full commercial operations.
In addition, Varco has started construction of Phase 2. Sizing John will expand to 142.5 MW / 348.5 MWh, making it one of the largest battery energy storage systems in the UK. The next phase will introduce advanced grid-forming technology, further strengthening grid stability and resilience.
